The double-woven knit is durable without being heavy, while the DWR coating sheds light precipitation and the OppoSet adjustable waist ensures a snug but but bunch-free fit. Patagonia also built the Simul with an articulated cut and gusseted crotch to help with your high stepping, French technique climbing, and glacier walking, and it included a narrow lower leg with a drawcord cuff to keep your pants out of the way and snow out of your boots.
