Infrared LED, also known as infrared emitting diodes, it belongs to diode class. It can convert the electrical energy directly into infrared light (black light), and can radiate out of the light emitting device, which is mainly used in various photoelectric switches and remote control transmitter circuit. Infrared LED structure and principles are similar to common light-emitting diodes, but different semiconductor materials are used.
