Product Description
Operation:
1. To turn on the thermometer, pull the probe away from the thermometer body. The LED screen will turn on, display all option,the display the current probe temperature. To turn off, press the "ON/OFF" button.
2. The thermometer is set to display temperatures in degrees Fahrenheit. To switch to Celsius, press the "℃/℉" button. Saving max temperature records by pressing ℃/℉ key for 6 seconds (MAX button records the maximum temperature).
3.To change the battery, open the case on the reverse side of the thermometer. Replace with an AAA battery.

Field calibration procedures:
1. The temperature is only calibration in a slush ice solution(60% crushed ice and 40% tap water) or a water bath. Do not attempt to calibrate in any other manner.
2.Immerse the stem of the thermometer to at lease half length in the slush ice solution.
3. Water for the reading to become stable (usual ±2°F of 32°F or ±1°C of 0°C).
4. Press and hold the HOLD button foe 8 seconds to begin calibration.
5. CAL will be display for two seconds and calibration at 32°F/ 0°C is completed.
6.Remove the thermometer from the ice water and continue to take measurements.

Important reminder:
-The thermometer is designed for temporary, hand held use. Do not leave in an oven.
-Do not leave inserted in extremely hot foods or liquids (anything over 572°F) for more than 1 minute.
-Clean the thermometer and probe with a damp cloth before and after use.
-Do not submerse the unit in water or place it in dishwater.
