But after the hour or so that it took to put together the 52 blocks, they were pretty fun. My 18-month-old son really enjoys stacking them and likes making towers as big as him. They build better on hardwood floors, but work on carpet too, just not as tall. The one problem I have is that I was very dissappointed in how many little blocks there are in the set. Only 8 large and 8 medium and the rest are all small.
