      Benzac AC  5% (benzoyl peroxide gel), water-base, benzoyl peroxide containing preparations for the treatment of acne vulgaris

                Benzoyl peroxide is an oxidizing agent which possesses antibacterties and is classified as a keratolytic. suitable for mild to moderate acne, that kills the bacteria on your skin that causes acne

             Benzac will also help to blocked pores, including blackheads and whiteheads. It also absorbs excess oils and releases glycerol which reduces the risk of infection

Benzac AC Gel is only for use on the skin. Benzac Gel is used as an aid in the treatment of acne.

It contains benzoyl peroxide which: kills the bacteria on your skin that cause acne.

unplugs blocked pores (blackheads and whiteheads).

Benzac AC Gel also contains acrylates copolymer beads that absorb excess oils and release glycerol which reduces the risk of
irritation.

Before you use Benzac

Do not use Benzac Gel if you are allergic to benzoyl peroxide or any of the other ingredients in the gel.

Direction :

Always begin acne therapy with either the 2.5% or 5% Benzac. Wash and dry your hands before applying the gel.

Squeeze a small quantity of gel onto your finger tips and rub a thin film onto the affected areas. Follow this three step plan:

1. Apply once daily, leaving on the skin for 2 hours then wash off with water.

2. After three days if no discomfort is felt, apply in the evening and leave on all night.

3. If after three days, there is no redness or peeling and your skin is still not improving, apply twice a day morning and night.

Persevere with your therapy as acne can take time to improve.

While you are using Benzac

Do not apply to eyes, lips, mouth or sensitive areas of the neck.

If accidental contact occurs rinse with water and pat dry. Contact may cause irritation.

Avoid excessive exposure to sunlight or other sources of ultra-violet light.

These things may have an extra drying or irritant effect:

Do not use harsh skin cleansers or scrubs.

Do not use cosmetic products that contain alcohol.
Do not use medicated soaps.

If you forget to apply it use it again as directed, as soon as you remember.

You may:

Use a gentle cleanser.

Apply a non-greasy sunscreen when sun protection is needed.
