It's the best shave gel I've used since started shaving 30+ years ago. HOWEVER...why did the aftershave lotion discontinue?! The two products in concert with each other was perfect. Now, I'm searching everywhere for an aftershave product that matches what Aveeno had going. What aftershave product does Aveeno recommend using for aftershave in concert with the shave gel? Before that, I pretty much just used whatever I had on hand, at best some body soap and at worst just water; the results were always bumpy, itchy legs with hair that started to grow back within 12 hours. Now it's been two full days after shaving and the hair has barely started to grow!! My legs are soft and smooth. I'm 30 years old and after maintaining a beard for 2 years straight I finally decided it was time to shave. My only concern was razor burn/bumps on my neck. For 7 years while I was an active duty Marine I dreaded shaving, due to the burning and unsightly bumps on my neck. As soon as I began to lather it on, the delicious scent began to work it's way into my nostrils. It reminded me of a cherry almond hand soap I once bought.I didn't knick myself 1 time, and my neck felt smooth and cool, instead of red and agitated. It's been about 31 hours, and although a couple of tiny bumps have sprouted, they are nothing compared to the barrage of bumps that I experienced in the past.
