Boericke & Tafel Children''s Cough and Bronchial Syrup Description Cough Suppressant & Expectorant Temporarily relieves coughs due to minor throat & bronchial irritation occuring with a cold or inhaled irritants. Soothes the throat. Helps loosen phlegm (spudtum)& thin bronchial secretions to rid the bronchial passageways of bothersome mucus and drain bronchial tubes. Relieves difficulty in sleeping associated with cough and bronchial conditions. Directions Children 6 to 12 years of age: 2 teaspoons every 2 hours. For severe coughs, repeat every 20 minutes for the first hour, then every 2 hours. Children 2 to 5: half of older children''s dose. Children under 2: consult a doctor.
