We were both pleasantly surprised by the size. softness and lovely pattern. It's bigger than I thought it would be and the material is lightweight and soft, which other reviewers led me to believe it wouldn't be. The price is modest and I'm now waiting for the matching shams to arrive that I ordered a couple days ago. Perfect for summer sleeping because it is super light. It's a little rough on top but that helps it keep shape on a made bed throughout the day. It looks beautiful, goes with any nautical theme. I saw this quilt and could not pass up the price! It works perfectly for the intended purpose, and would look great on a bed, too. It's not a true quilt, rather a printed pattern, but a nice nautical print. The back is not any matching material, just a white backing, but I didn't expect any more than that for the price.
