Pure Ylang Ylang Essential Oil
A very sweet floral powerful scent with spicy hints. Use it sparingly as it is very strong or use it in blend to balance the sweetness.
Usually what is sold with name Ylang ylang (sometimes Ylang Ylang extra) oil is the first and lightest part of the oil produced at the start of distillation. For oil produced later it is sold at Cananga Odorata with various Grades 1 to 3 and it has a rougher aroma.
This Ylang Ylang is actually what is called complete, meaning it is the total oil from start to end of distillation (from extra to Grade 3).
Ylang Ylang complete is produced by a long distillation of the flowers, producing an oil with a great richness of aroma.
A complete perfume with base, middle, and top notes, blends well with most oils. Our oil comes from a fair trade operation in Madagascar
Complete is more relaxing, it will help you sleep soundly.
Please note the label might just read "Ylang Ylang" without Madagascar.
