I got this set because it had 700 pieces, but when he actually opened the box and I looked at them, I was really disappointed. There were lots of tiny, practically useless pieces, and only one of the famed golden blocks. There were no windows, doors, gates, or base pieces that normally come with Lego sets, especially those with this many pieces. Additionally, the blocks were hard to snap together, much harder than I remember my Leogs being... I'd only recommend this product if whoever you are buying it for already has a decent set of Legos with base pieces, doors, and such, because you can't really do all that much with this set. Comparing this product to other products, for the amount of pieces you received with this specific product, it was the best value. However, this product was missing some pieces, that you would typically find included with a set of Legos, such as doors and windows.
