Short clip about Bale Tea
Xiang Bale Xin Ye Tea (Bale Tea), also known as Guava Leaf Tea or Psidium Odorata Tea are a native product of Taitung, Taiwan. Many universities from Japan and other countries has researched and confirmed that guava leaves are a powerhouse of great antioxidants. Each leaf contains vitamins A, B2, C, calcium, and iron, etc. According to an article published in Nutrition and Metabolism, Bale Tea inhibits several different enzymes that are able to convert carbohydrate in the digestive tract into glucose, potentially slowing its uptake into your blood.
We noted that health issue has been increasing gradually in Singapore in the recent years. Such risk arising is due to our daily consumption. Our daily meals consists of rice, noodles or bread that are all made of high carbohydrates, which will break down into sugar stored in our bodies. Most importantly, due to studies/work, not everyone have the time to exercise right. Therefore, we ended having unhealthy lifestyle or overweight or even worst, storing too much sugar level, which ultimately lead to diabetics.
