I have several kinds of chinese knot cord, They are very great, also have each characteristic each of course. If you need any help when you choose the type, just let me know. please note different brand have different definition of color, so it is only for an reference.
This cord made from 100% nylon. It has a nice shiny appearance, is easy to work with and extremely comfortable to wear not to mention it looks great! It can be a little slippery to use when tying the more complicated Chinese knots so when you are finished with your knot, use some thread and stitch the knot to hold it.
Polyester VS Nylon:
1. Nylon has a silky texture while polyester is more of the fiber feeling.
2.Polyester not that stiff as the Nylon.
3. The polyester fabrics are more wrinkle resistant than the nylon fabrics.
4. Polyester is easier to be dye, it is more widely applied.
