The gel was fun to use because I usually do not spend the money buying "fluff" products like brand-name shaving gel. I appreciate the full size gift from Gillette; it gave me the opportunity to enjoy the pampering of a genuine shaving gel. The gel comes out, fluffs up, and applies across the skin in a thick, creamy lather. The scent was acceptable as far as free goes. I would recommend the Vanilla Cashmere scent to those who enjoy deep, musky scents; if you like a rich, musky scent then this one is right for you. If you like a lighter or fruitier smell I'd suggest looking for other scent options. If you are looking for a silky smooth pampering experience then I recommend this product. The down side for me was the overwhelming musky vanilla scent; they could up the ante and marketability if they offered a greater range of scent options. I'd like to see lavender, chamomile, and even unscented on the market. That would sell it for me.
