I work in a daycare center. I am constantly washing my hands. After every diaper change, before serving meals, and several other times. I also spray a bleach mixture to clean tables, chairs and toys. I usually wear gloves when spraying, but sometimes forget. All of this causes a LOT of damage to my hands. This week my hands were raw. I think I got some of the bleach mixture on the back of them. They were cracked with red raw skin showing. I have been using another lotion for very dry skin, but today looked for something for cracked skin. After only one application, there is a complete change. The skin on the back of my hands does not feel rough and bumpy any more. I'm still a little red, but that should clear up soon. My hands actually feel as they did before, they were kind of dry before. I am going to use this every day. I'm expecting to have very soft hands with continued use. Thank you for making a dependable, affordable, trustworthy product. Aquaphor is an absolute staple in our house. We affectionate nicknamed it "Wolverine cream" based off the Marvel character who heals quickly from injuries. Honestly though, we've always used aquaphor as diaper cream, hand cream, scraped knees and it works wonders on all those scratches left by sharp little baby fingernails. But I have a whole new appreciation for this cream following a recent bacterial infection that left us battling very severe diaper rash. Truly this product is amazing. I almost always buy this product for new parents and I will recommend it any opportunity that I get.
