Battery revolution - Simply submerge the batteries in ordinary water for 5 minutes to activate it! An Aquacell battery is a clean, recyclable, lightweight alternative to normal alkaline batteries and it’s ideal for everyday use, whether for indoor or outdoor activities.
Imagine this, after a long tiring working day, you are sitting on the couch and want to turn your tv on to watch your favorite show only to realize that your remote control, which you just changed the battery not long ago, is not working. You remove the battery cover to check the condition and next you see that the toxic materials leaked from the ordinary batteries are all over. So, your pleasant mood vanishes immediately and cleaning up is just a mess! But, with the introduction of new AQUACELL eco-friendly water activated battery, we can instantly bid farewell to all these messes. All you need to do is simply adding water to activate the battery. It’s so simple and efficient that we strongly recommend you to bring Aquacell batteries with you anytime and anywhere you go!
Aquacell batteries are new eco-friendly batteries that just need water to activate it. Aquacell batteries give you power like normal alkaline batteries, but its unique features of being clean, lightweight, recyclable, having infinite shelf life make it your best choice among all the batteries.
4.Green technology: Aquacell batteries are certified by Batrec to meet the high standard of recycling efficiency. Aquacell batteries are also certified by SGS to have a significant lesser impact on the environment compared to the standard alkaline battery.
AQUACELL eco-friendly water-activated battery
Specification: AA size battery (size 5) 2 units per pack
Weight: 12 gram per unit
Useful tips: When battery power drops, suggest to use the battery on low power consumption products (eg. remote controls, calculators, etc).
1.Recycled plastic casing
Aquacell batteries use a recycled plastic outer casing instead of a steel or zinc casing in traditional batteries that makes the batteries not only the lightest in the world, but also causes much less of an environmental impact as it is easy and far more efficient to recycle compared to steel casing.
2.Carbon stick
The carbon stick serves to collect the current of the battery and delivers it to the positive cap on the top, which in turn delivers the power to connected product.
3.Zinc foil
The customized and patented zinc foil in Aquacell battery, which has lesser amount of zinc than traditional battery and therefore reducing weight, cost and environmental impact, is made of a superior pure grade zinc which acts as the anode of the battery.
4.Separating paper
A custom shaped and specially formulated paper separator prevents contact between the anode and the active powders. When water is added to the battery, the separator paper will become moist and therefore allow the transfer of current between the anode and the cathode.
5.Active powder
Active powders in Aquacell batteries are natural resources, with some even found in human body such as carbon. Alkali materials such as Potassium Hydroxide are not used, which means a much less violent reaction is produced when electrolyte mixed with water and therefore much less hazardous composition compared to Alkaline based batteries.
6.Membrane
The membrane in the battery serves to hold the paper separator in place and prevent active powders from dispersing whilst allowing water to be added to the battery when being activated. Made of recycled plastic and extremely lightweight the membrane is low cost safety feature of the battery.
7.O-ring & screw cap
The custom designed O-ring in combination with patented screw cap, provides an air-tight sealing of Aquacell battery. Along with the patented air chamber design inside the screw cap and casing, this design has been tested to be completely leak-proof, even when drained below 0.8V or left in a product for extensive period of time.
