I've used Neutrogena products for years and would often switch up my products based on what was new, but I can't stop using this. When I first tried it, I thought my skin was burning b/c of the menthol, but the cooling effect is actually great b/c I feel like it opens up my pores so that the acne medicine can gets deep in my pores, which is great. It doesn't smell bad like most other products. For me one tube will last about 2-3 months which great b/c of the price. It doesn't dry my skin out (and I use prescription medicine from my dermatologist as well) and it works great with my other products. My skin looks and feels great. I can honestly say that I see a huge difference in my skin tone and appearance since using this product. My acne does seem to be more under control and I have fewer breakouts since I've been constant with this product. At first I thought it was just tingling like some products do, but then now it got very painful and I took it off. My face is still bright red and painful. I have extremely sensitive skin and tested it on my arm for a couple of days before today when I used it for the first time ony face. I thought the cooling sensation was great but it didn't go away. I stepped out of the shower and dried my face, it was painful to the touch and I looked in the mirror and saw that I was so red I looked like my face had been scalded. It was bright red except for around my eyes, as I don't put that kind of cleanser near my eyes, and felt like it was on fire, it literally felt hot to the touch and was accompanied by a burning sensation. I rinsed with cold water for several minutes but it didn't help at all. It's six hours later and my face is still red and feels hot but it's not burning anymore.
