She knows how to turn on/off, hit the boo buttons abd claps button. Very easy to use to set up abd what is really cool about this microphone is it comes with a cord that fit my Samsung note phone to play music through amp. So i can biw download any song (kid) so she can sing along with. The mic is good you can hear hear the voice come through loud and clear. I've read on other reviews for some mics like this that you can't hear the voice come through but this is completely opposite. Great product Great value! !! The stand is a "telescoping" construction which does not fit tightly together and therefor does not stay in the raised position! There are no adjustments which can be made to correct this or adjust the height!
