Past entry-level RC cars, trucks, boats, and motorcycles have not lasted long until they are crashed and done. The drone has held up for a week, with only a need for a blade replacement (included). Initially he found it difficult to control, but after advising a look at the instructions, he began to improve his flying. So far it has been mostly used in the house. The guards on the blades do a good job protecting against damage. The battery lasts about 10 min. per session, which is about as expected for a starter drone. One for my son and the other for myself. Both drones began having issues with one of the motors. Now they both will not fly.
