This item was purchased to play music for my wife who is in a nursing home and enjoys listening to music. While I have only checked out the radio portion of this player briefly it seemed to work okay. The CD portion of the player works great with good, clear audio and plenty of volume. All functions of the player worked as they were supposed to. It is compact and has good sound quality. I just wish the on/off button was on the front instead of the back right. It would be easier to turn it off and on. It works good for and inexpensive CD player. I can't attach headphones to it and when I stop or pause it, it goes all the way back to the start. The radio sound great. Easy to tune in. The spearkers are great. Easy to carry about with the attached handle. Good gift for a child or and old person. While it had decent sound capability, it was not easy to operate. After I was listening to a CD I was called away so I pushed the hold button and then when I was ready to listen again I could not get the player to start again! I read the instructions to no avail. They seemed straightforward but did not seem to work as stated with my machine.
