My daughter wanted bright lime green walls in her room and this comforter does well in toning down the walls yet pulling every thing together. There is some lime green in the background flowers & with the walls the color gives the comforter a little pop of color. I have washed it several times and line dry it to educe fading if it should happen. We have no problems at all. It is still in great shape after 3 years. The whole family loves it. The orange is more of a burnt orange/tan color. It was disappointing but the green and the purple are still pretty.
