I'm never sure about the size with anything, so I was leery. I got a large but really could have done with a medium, well, I think I could. :) I am about to order a medium to see. I wore them in Hawaii, fit right in. Some of the merchants that sale these type dresses with this pattern were asking me where I got the dresses with pockets, theirs didn't have pockets and folks were asking for them.
