The light color and airy texture (it's not stiff) were perfect. It's better than a plain white curtain and adds just the right amount of color and design to the bathroom without overdoing it. I just wish it was a little longer. At 72", it would work great with a standard shower rod. However, I hung mine on a curved rod that was a little higher so the bottom hits a little below the top of the tub. At the end of the day though, it brightens up my bathroom and makes it look more roomy which is exactly what I was trying to achieve. I was debating between the Wine color (burgundy) and the grey, but did end up going with the grey. I really liked the color because it is not too dark (not charcoal) and because grey seems to be the new beige (the new neutral). This materiel does have a texture and sheen, so it picks up light in the room. The texture and pattern also is forgiving and is something you don't have to worry if you snag. It looks great with black or white hooks, as well as other cooler accent colors (I would use burgundy or a muted mustard yellow as accents for this colors). The cloth is well made and feels good to the touch. Adds a very nice comfy look the bathroom in this color in my opinion. One of those inexpensive ways to spruce up the bathroom and spending very little. I like it better then the old plastic one we had before plus it gives you more privacy since its a dark solid color. We've washed it a few times so far and it still holding up color wise as well as stitching. I like it.
