The blocks are heavy/dense enough to stack easily yet light enough not to get hurt when they fall (or get thrown by a younger sibling). The colors and shapes are good for children my granddaughter's age. It doesn't come with a carrying case so be sure to pick up a container or bin to keep them in. I love it because I know these blocks are non-toxic and they won't get hurt from playing with the blocks being soft.
