I bought it for my Grandson and his parents complain that it is even difficult for them to transform. It is exspensive and the difficultly for transforming makes it not worth the money. The excitement in his eyes when he opened it was worth it. I didn't realize that Megatron was the bad guy when I purchased it. Nevertheless, Dominic still enjoyed playing with him. The toy is durable. I was worried it might break while he tried to transform. It took him a few tries to figure out how to transform him. It is a little tricky. Everyone whose seen it comments on the great detail. He's had hours of fun playing with it. I wouldn't recommend it for children younger than 5, they may get frustrated trying to transform it.
