It is normal that all new silicone bakeware do come with some silicone smell.

Before first use, rinse with warm soapy water.

Place filled pans on a metal baking tray for added stability going in and out of the oven.

Do not use knives,metal tools or abrasive cleaning supplies that can damage the surface.

Never use abrasive sponges or cleaners on the bakeware since they will mar the surface.

Clean pieces by soaking them in warm, soapy water and wiping clean after each use.

Never use on an open flame or on stovetop burners

Tips about Silicone:  

The quality of the Silicone do not depend on the thickness of the mold. The thickness of the mold depends on factors such as the design, size of the mold, how much silicone is use etc etc.
