#bigfatlunch has a durable plastic outer shell with an easy-to-open wide handle. It comes with a spoon and a fork which can be snapped into place inside the lid. The inside liner is made of double wall stainless steel vacuum insulation, which is able to keep food hot or cold for 8 hours. #bigfatlunch works best when the compartments are full, and when the thermos has been pre-warmed with hot water. The food should be piping hot when placed in the bowls, and the lid securely closed (unless you are using it for cold food). It comes with two compartments which hold 1.2 Liters of food combined. It is made of BPA free plastic and is FDA approved.
