The ball has nylon winding around a butyl rubber bladder for shape retention, and is constructed to standard specifications for soccer balls. Nylon is very strong and flexible, has excellent abrasion resistance, is lightweight, and resists crushing and cracking; rubber is an elastic hydrocarbon polymer, and is highly elastic, resisting abrasion and impact forces. The ball is suitable for middle school grade level.
