4 digital display with adjustable brightness LED module clock point fitting blocks
The module is a 12-foot clock points with four common anode digital tube (0.36 inches) of the display module、 TM1637 driver chip、 only two signal lines can make the MCU control four 7-segment.
Module features are as follows:
Display for four common anode red digital tube
Digital tube 8 adjustable gray
Level control interface for 5V or 3.3V
Four positioning holes M2 screws、 easy to install
Control Interface: A total of four pins (GND、 VCC、 DIO、 CLK)、 GND to ground、 VCC for the power supply、 DIO pins for data input and output、 CLK is the clock signal pin;
Digital Tube: 4 common anode score points with 0.36 inches digital tube、 red highlights;
Positioning holes: 4 M2 screw positioning holes with a diameter of 2.2mm、 so that the positioning module is easy to install、 to achieve inter-module combination;
Library routines Glance:
1. Clock Display: Use a timer on the motherboard MCU to time、 and let the four digital display.
2. Number Flow: 0 ~ 9、 A、 b、 C、 d、 E、 F、 etc. 16 characters from right to left flow.
3. Stop Watch: MCU on the motherboard using a timer to time one can achieve with stopwatch function keys.
Experimental equipment:
1 x Compatible board Catduino (not familiar with open source hardware can be interpreted as Atmega328P microcontroller development board) and a mini USB cable;
1 x 4-digit LED display module;
4 x Male to female jumper cable for control interface and Catduino development board connected modules;
Experimental Procedure:
Connect the display module with Catduino by four jumper wires、 as below table:
- Use the mini USB connection will Catduino up、 if it is the first use of the motherboard、 the USB-to-serial driver can be found in the USB Drivers from drivers IDE directory.
- Re-open the IDE、 click the Open button on the toolbar to open the Number Flow Digital Tube routine、 as shown below.
Selected serial port、 the board name、 click the burn button. This routine allows the 0 ~ 9、 A、 b、 C、 d、 E、 F、 etc. 16 characters flows from right to left、 as shown below.
Adjust digital display grayscale function for class TM1637 the set () function、 the input parameter is 0 to 7、 the larger the number、 the higher the brightness.
