Which shape to use? Coil or Stick? Generally COIL shape is more popular. However, if you tend to use a lot of different colours in your artwork, then STICK is better. You can avoid troubles in changing colors.
Which material is better? There is no better material. But there is more suitable material. To help you decide ABS or PLA mateial, refer to the below picture. For newbies, we would suggest ABS material. Easy to handle, easy to master. Remember to change the temperature setting in your pen or printer. For ABS material, higher temperature (225 - 250 degree celcius) is required.
