Microplush is a single-sided fabric, with one side covered with very fine velvety fibres. It is in fact more like a traditional velvet in construction than micro plush but is easily washed, unlike velvet. Supposedly softer and warmer than fleece, the Micro plush fabric is made of a fine acrylic fibre that is machine washable for easy care. Micro plush sometimes can be almost like a fine chenille with raised patterns on the velvety side. Like micro fleece, Micro plus does not wick.
