Excellent drawing performance is demonstrated

Four pieces of FLD (F Low Dispersion) glass * boasting the same performance as fluorite are adopted, and the chromatic aberration of magnification which becomes a problem at ultra wide angle is corrected to the limit.

Two glass mold aspheric lenses and one hybrid aspherical lens are adopted, and astigmatism and field curvature are corrected well.

Adoption of inner focus minimizes aberration fluctuation due to focusing and realizes high image quality at all shooting distances.

* FLD glass is the highest level ultra low dispersion glass excellent in transparency which has the same performance as fluorite such as extremely low refractive index and dispersibility compared to conventional glass and high anomalous dispersion.

By utilizing this property, residual chromatic aberration = secondary spectrum which could not be removed with conventional lenses is thoroughly removed, realizing an excellent depiction with extremely sharp contrast.

Quiet and quick AF

By installing the ultrasonic motor HSM (Hyper Sonic Motor), the AF speed is realized faster and quiet.

After focusing with AF, just turning the focus ring enables full time manual that allows you to fine-tune the focus.

※ For PENTAX, AF shooting is possible in combination with the body corresponding to the ultrasonic motor.
