The blades are stitched with a CNC machine which produces a uniform tooth pattern and height allowing for a steady removal rate and an even finish. This is considered a coarse cut rasp with 12 teeth per square centimeter. The handle is 5 3/4'' long, 1 1/2'' in diameter and has a brass ferrule. Handle is made hard and dense Hornbeam. Blade is 25 mm (1 inch) wide by 6 mm (1/4 inch) thick and 250 mm (10 inches) long. Overall length is 395 mm (16 inches) This is a well made rasp for a very reasonable price.
