MICROBE-LIFT LIQUID ALKALINE BUFFER 8FL. OZ (236 ML)

A non-phosphate buffer formulated to raise pH and buffer your aquarium water when used with MICROBE-LIFT/Aqua Acid Buffer. These two buffers are dedicated for the planted aquarium or for very hard water where phosphate buffers may pose an algae problem.

MICROBE-LIFT/Aqua Alkaline Buffer, when combined with MICROBE-LIFT/Aqua Acid Buffer, will buffer between 6.0 and 8.7. It is very gentle, safe and revitalizes the freshwater environment. This product is compatible with all other MICROBE-LIFT Buffers.

Note: When used by itself this product will raise the pH to 8.2-8.3.
