I used to wake every morning around 3:00 AM and be afraid to go back to sleep fearing I would not hear the alarm. Now I am confident this alarm will wake me so I do go back to bed and I am getting an additional two hours of sleep each night. This shows promise in that it will not only give a loud alarm but turn on a table lamp and the included bed shaker is normally extra so that attracted me also. With all three modes of operation it is likely to be a big hit with her, without me setting my alarm and then waking her up.
