The comb attachments let you choose the length that you wish, each will work in both directions; forward and a pulling stroke. The pull stroke is very nice on areas like your lower legs, small of the back and back of the neck. This does not require an even hand to get the job done. I use in both directions to get bet results. The shaver is basically an electric razor that does a fantastic job anywhere on the body. Coarse hair like the legs, chest and groin as well as finer hair like arms, upper back, etc all shave well with no irritation. It is much better than a blade for shaving body hair. A word of caution would be the use on an area like the back of the neck. It is easy to trim off the hairline with the clippers while shaving the neck area. Charge time seems a bit long. The amount of charge does not seem to be a problem. The cord is removable from the base (required to charge) allowing for storage when the trimmer is not in use. I always keep a comb on the trimmer to prevent accidental damage to the foil of the razor. I have been using a regular razor to shave all my very private parts. When I tried this product I could not believe how smooth those areas could be without any razor bumps or iching. I used the bodygroom on my chest hair, of which I have alot. I was able to shave clean just what I wanted without the mess of shave cream and a slippery razor. I have not yet tried it in the shower wet. but as well as it did dry why use it wet. Thanks again for the wonderful product. The first one lasted almost 2 years. For the price, I think it works great. It can't last forever. When you fully charge the unit. UNPLUG it until it runs down, then recharge. Don't leave it pluged in after each use or sooner or later, it won't hold a charge longer then 1 minute. I learned from the first shaver. When this 2nd one runs down, I will get another one.
