I bought this suitcase for a 7 week trip to the Philippines, Hong Kong and New Zealand. I had originally bought the osprey shuttle 28, but knowing I would be moving around a lot as well as camper-vanning in new Zealand (where space would be at a premium), I started looking for a smaller, more versatile bag that could still accommodate all my needs. The lync 26 fit the bill between a carry-on and a larger checked bag. I was also intrigued by the ability to remove the wheels and convert it to a duffel if needed for storage in the campervan.
