** FAQs **

Q1: Is the Donut-shape Humidifier allow to be submerged completely in water ?
Ans:No. Take precaution to prevent water from dripping into the top of the humidifer(the metallic portion that emit mist) as this may damage the internal chipset. Should that happen, please invert the Humidifier and allow the water to drip off and dry it as soon as possible before operating it again.

Q2: Does this humidifier allow the use of aroma essential solution ?

Ans: It depends on the type of solution used. This Humidifier ONLY allows the use of water-based(NOT ESSENTIAL OIL which is oil-based) aroma essential solution that is friendly to ABS(Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) and PC(PolyCarbornate) material. Otherwise, the aroma solution may corrode the internal plastic material casing and damage the mist emitting device within. If other Sellers of the same product claim that their product can take a bit of essentail oil then they are not telling the truth as this type of USB Humidifier's mist emitter is not designed for that purpose and it will spoil very soon.

Q3: The Humidifier stops spraying mist after operating for a while. Is it normal?
Ans: This is NORMAL as during mist emission, the spraying will be interrupted momentarily while the device adjust the suction state, thereafter it will continue automatically. Also note that there are 2 operating modes. Touch the Humidifier once, First mode, it will then auto-shut down in 3 hours. Touch the Humidifier twice, Second mode, it will then auto-shut down in 6 hours. If this is NOT the case, just touch the Humidifier so that the LED light up to get it started again.

Q4:When Humidifier is powered up,it emits buzzling sound before floating it on a container of water.Is this normal?
Ans: Yes. This is normal in the absence of water. You should operate it by floating the Humidifier on a container of water.

 


Q5:Why I cannot seem to switch in between the 3hour or 6hourly mode?
Ans: As the switching to 3 hourly or 6 hourly timer is via touching the surface of the Humidifier via electro-static of your finger, you just need to hold the Humidifier with your fingers as(indicated in following picture) and then use one finger to softly touch the surface to activate the respective timer mode.

 

Q6:I cannot turn ON the Humidifier even though I have plugged to my USB port and touch my finger gently on the Humidifier surfaces and there is no Yellow or Blue LED light turn ON?
Ans: If this is the case, kindly switch to a confirmed working USB port because sometimes your frequently-used USB port is so often used that the metallic contact between the USB Port and the USB connector of Humidifier is quite bad and not in contact to supply power to Humidifier.
