I used it twice a day everyday and honestly, my face did not get better but got worse! (most acne on my face ever) I was very disappointed. I'm a 41 year old african american woman. I've had acne since I was 20 or so. I've tried lots of cleansers and meds. they would work sometimes. I would always get some type of outbreak. I've used proactiv for, shame to say, over ten years. believe it or not, I still would break out. so I tried Oil of Olay cleansers since my older sister swore by it. That made it worse. So, I went back to proactiv. I don't even remember what prompted me to try Neutrogena. I just started looking up different cleansers and decided to try the grapefruit. Well, it's been a month. My skin is so clear and smooth. I know it's a no-no to rub your face. But I can't help it! it's looking so nice. I also use the naturals moisturizer. Its great too. So, now I am even using the grapefruit wipes. They are the least greasy feeling of the three that I've tried. I just love this cleanser. Personally I'm not the type to have sensitive skin, my skin is pretty strong and acne products never have hurt my skin like this. My skin turns red and does not feel brighter at all. Immediately as I apply it to my face I already feel the burning sensation and just want to wash it off as soon as possible to stop the burning. After washing, however, sure my skin feels a lot cleaner, but I got about 4 new pimples, mostly being white heads, just after only using this product for one week. The good news is, it helped clear my dark marks that used to be acne, but thats the only good part along with the nice smell and clean feeling. Overall it's a pretty good cleanser, it just seems like it is meant for a certain skin type, but I don't know. If you're looking to buy this product though, I definitely think you should try it out because you probably have a different skin type and won't feel a burning sensation, just like the other reviews have not really mentioned anything about it burning. I purposefully purchased the cream and not the scrubs because those can be abrasive to my skin. I have tried many other treatments, and they will usually make my skin burn and sensitive. When I would apply my make-up in the morning, my brushes would feel to abrasive against my skin and I would be in great discomfort. I have not experienced it with this product. I was also impressed by how affordable this was. It is quite a large
