This four model series of mallets has been designed exclusively for marimba virtuoso William Moersch. The hard acrylic-style core offers a full sound at soft dynamic levels and a bright sound at louder dynamic levels. William Moersch is internationally renowned as a marimba virtuoso, chamber and symphonic percussionist, recording artist and educator. A frequent featured artist at international percussion festivals, he is perhaps best known for his solo compact disc The Modern Marimba and for commissioning over the past 20 years repertoire for solo marimba. Professor Moersch also created graduate degree programs in marimba performance at the Peabody Conservatory and Rutgers University and has presented masterclasses throughout the world. Mr. Moersch was a freelance percussionist in New York City for more than 20 years. Currently, he is principal timpanist/percussionist of Sinfonia da Camera and principal percussionist of the Bard Music Festival.
