Detailed limited edition Tamiya 1/48 scale assembly model kit of the World War II era North American P-51D Mustang and the 1942 U.S. Army staff car (1942 Ford Fordor). Model kit highlights: Combination set containing 1/48 scale assembly kit models of the North American P-51D Mustang and staff car. Existing P-51D kit (Tamiya Item #: 61089) parts used, with brand new sprues included for pilot figure and fuel tanks, as well as 3 types of new markings. The staff car is the first of its kind in this scale, and the new moldings accurately reproduce its rounded body and distinctive bulbous fenders. Staff car also features die-cast chassis to give it an additional sense of volume.
