My Sister was looking for a glove to use in our grooming shop that was both flexible enough to use while clipping / combing / scissoring, etc. but offered protection from bites / scratches(mostly from cats). Most of the products available to groomers are not very flexible or heavy or difficult to do tasks stated above.
We came across these gloves which are generally sold for Industrial / machine work.
After months of use in our shop they are still like new and drastically have cut down our injuries when grooming.
These do not PREVENT bites and we have found cats & dogs can get claws / teeth through material but not enough to actually scratch or do damage...
The rubber palm is great for better grip with clippers / shears, or even when bathing or in wet situations, etc. Work well with bathing also but are not water-proof-Our bather keeps a pair on at all times.
