Closely Matched Pair (2 tubes) of vintage NIB/NOS GE JAN 5654W Vacuum Tubes. Considered one of the best of the 5654/6AK5/EF95 family of tubes for audio use. 5654W tubes are Mil. Spec. (JAN) Electron Tubes - Higher Durability and Life. Vacuum tubes were obtained from factory sealed military surplus boxes and are guaranteed to test at NOS levels.
Premium upgrade for 7-pin 6J1， 6J1P， 6AK5， 6AK5W， EF95 and 5654 tubes used in microphones and preamps， including Little Bear， Little Dot， HIFIMAN， Yaqin and other quality amplifiers. Please note - these tubes should only be used to replace 6J1 / 6J1P and 6AK5 / 5654 tubes (do not substitute for other 7-pin tubes). It is important to check with your amplifier manufacturer to verify that 5654W tubes can be used as a replacement in your particular audio device.
Tested and matched by Riverstone Audio utilizing the best available equipment (Amplitrex AT1000). We do not sell untested tubes - never have and never will. Our engineers match tubes for BOTH plate current and mutual conductance， with test results clearly listed on each tube box. All tubes must also pass a specialized life test and an audio sound test. The 5654W tubes selected for these matched pairs test at NOS levels at or above 5000 micro-mho and at a plate current of 7.2 mA or higher.
Only the best tubes are considered for our matched tube sets. Less than 50% of the NOS 5654 tubes we test meet our standards for high fidelity audio use and are considered for use in our matched tube sets.
