One-touch WPS button for easy wireless security setup

Establishing a secure wireless network connection with the WAP3205 v2 couldn’t be easier. Simply push the Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) button and the corresponding button on the device you wish to connect. It takes only a few seconds to set up a secure wireless network without any complicated con¬figuration. Instead of using a pass phrase, users can authenticate and add a new device to the network by pressing a button or entering an automatically generated PIN code. With the button option, you can setup the wireless configuration and encryption in seconds with just a simple click.

Wireless scheduling

In order to reduce unnecessary wireless energy consumption, the wireless scheduling and output power management features of the WAP3205 v2 enable you to easily control your wireless network environment. The desired operating time can be set up in a few steps via the Web-based user interface, allowing the WAP3205 v2 to turn itself on or off according to your wireless usage patterns.

Wireless output management

With Wireless Output Management, you’re able to easily adjust the power output of the WAP3205 v2 for less interference in neighborhoods with high access point density — its six-level signal strength control capability instantly makes you a good wireless neighbor.
