It does not work on hair that is thick and/or longer than 2 mm. When you first start using this type of shaver it may cause some irritation. This is normal, but with regular use that should dissipate. With this product it does not. Every time I use it it causes irritation, redness and sometimes cuts my skin (but leaves stubble, and longer hair behind). Almond oil strip? I think they mean rubber grips.
