As soon as they arrived my son was ready to play with them. They are the perfect size for him to grab and hold onto; but are big enough for him not to choke on when he puts them in his mouth. He enjoys looking at the vibrant colors of the different boats. I also like that the boats are durable enough to withstand him banging them in the bath tub.
