About our Artist: "Hi. My name is Rosalia Tarigan, and I am from Medan, North Sumatra. My first career was as an engineer, but after going to Bangil, East Java, on a business trip, I became interested in the tradition of silver craft in the area. I met Ibu Indun, a widow who lives in the area, and together we started a silver craft workshop where Ibu Indun and her relatives work. One of my three sisters is involved in the business, and I am responsible for finances, design and marketing. Our collection uses silver, which is beautiful and easy to clean, and gemstones, and combines traditional and modern styles. We are registered with Indonesia's Trade Ministry and have participated in local and international exhibitions. We collaborate with silversmiths in Bali, and they finish our pieces and set the gems for us. I was so happy when my sister found Novica online. Now we have a way to show our collections to the world. Thank you, Novica!"...
