Background
Born in 1754, Michel Lynch - an enterprising winegrower and mayor of Pauillac during the French Revolution - was one of the leading figures in the developments in winemaking during the late 18th century. His estate at Bages took the name of Lynch-Bages and was established "Grand Cru Classe" in 1855. J.M. Cazes Selection has decided to honour him by creating a grand vin from best terriors of Bordeaux, and naming it: Michel Lynch.
