Great for Appetite Control

Product Description

If you have recently purchased GG Bran Crispbread by the package from your local health food store or online through low carb food outlets?? you may have been confused to see a slightly different label with updated nutrition facts. We would like to help with the confusion by explaining how the nutrition facts are calculated and how serving size plays into that equation. On the nutritional label of GG Brand crackers?? our cus"ers are used to seeing the serving size listed as one cracker. European products will often state the nutritional information based on 1 cracker if the cracker size is 8 grams or more?? and GG has listed 1 cracker as the serving size on their packaging for over 30 years. When Hain Celestial acquired GG?? they opted to use the serving size of 2 crackers as recommended by the FDA (the FDA recommends that nutritional information be stated in terms of a serving size of at least 15 grams for crackers). This is why you see a difference in nutritional values listed on the new packaging. We are also required by the FDA to round up or down when listing the nutritional values on the packaging. One cracker has .4 grams of fat?? but two crackers at .8 grams and must be rounded
