Anatom V2 Vorlich Hiking Boots The V2 Vorlich Men's Light Hiking Boot is all about lightness combined with awesome comfort and support. Abrasion Resistant Upper The upper of the V2 Vorlich is made from a blend of high abrasion resistant polyester and suede. This will protect the boot and foot from loose and possibly dangerous debris that are commonly found on hiking trails. These materials also allow the boot to wrap snugly around the foot for a supportive fit. The lacing system uses metal loops instead of eyelets. This is a stronger method of fastening and will help to offer a strong and stable fit. Fabric eyelets could potentially tear if the lace became stuck on a branch whereas the metal eyelets will offer a much more durable fastening. Plush padding has been placed inside of the tongue and heel cuff. This allows these key areas to sit closely against the skin without causing chafe and discomfort. A Tri.Aria waterproof membrane has been placed along the inside of the boot. This will allow the upper to block out water but will also allow cool air to flow into the boot at the same time as releasing warm air, creating a cool and dry environment inside of the boot. A Bioform Ultralite Footbed improves the under-foot comfort by offering a plush cushioned feel. This material also uses anti-bacterial qualities which will help to prevent odour causing bacteria forming. A pull loop has been added to the higher part of the heel. This will allow the wearer to firmly grip the boot and easily apply and remove it for a manageable and quickly adjusted wear. Calibrated Midsole And Vibram Outsole The midsole is made from Calibrated Nylon which ensures the appropriate torsional support and flex for the lifetime of the boot.
