Active Ingredients Each Teaspoonful (5 mL): Dextromethorphan HBr USP 10 mg
Directions Follow dosage chart. Do not exceed four doses in any 24 hour period. Adults and Children 12 years and over: 2 teaspoonfuls (10 mL) every 6 to 8 hours. Children 6 to under 12 years of age: 1 teaspoonful (5 mL) every 6 to 8 hours. Cough and Cold medicines are not recommended for children under 6 years of age unless prescribed by a doctor. Store at 20 degrees - 25 degrees C (68 degrees - 77 degrees F).

Warnings Do not exceed recommended dosage. Do not give this product to children under the age of six unless directed by a doctor. May cause drowsiness do not drive or operate machinery. Do not use if you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression psychiatric or emotional conditions or Parkinson`s disease) or for two weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. Have a cough that occurs with too much phlegm (mucus). Stop use and ask a doctor if: Cough lasts more than seven days returns or is accompanied by fever rash or persistent headache. These could be signs of a serious condition. Keep out of reach of children. In case of accidental overdose get medical help or contact a poison control center right away.
